KeymasterI think they have a mapping for the MK2 on their forum, but it is not officially supported.

KeymasterOn the frontplate of the unit beside the headphone port there is a CUE VOLUME and CUE MIX knob. If the master is too loud then I suggest turning the CUE MIX dial down and if the CUE is too low then turn the CUE Volume up.
If this does not work, then probably the knobs are faulty and need service.Terry_42
KeymasterSorry Mustafa but this sounds not like an earthing problem, it sounds more like a problem with your controller in general and we are not Numark.
So kindly contact Numark support regarding this issue and they are usually very fast to respond. Also please refrain from requests like ASAP as this is not very respectful. We are a volunteer platform here and use our spare time to help others. We are not getting any money or benefits and hence would ask for the respect we think we deserve.

KeymasterI heard them compared to similar offerings from HK and Behringer.
They are definitely above the entry/cheap Behringers and on the same level as other offerings from the mid-range variety (HK, Peavey, JBL,…).
Good thing is for a PA their response is relatively flat, which is excellent for DJing. I know some DJs prefer bass heavy, I am more of a flat response fan. Also the sub is excellent for its size, so if you EQ it bass heavy it gets enough OOMPH.As always in this segment I would heavily compare prices and then make a decision suiting your needs.

KeymasterYou need to prepare your USB stick with Rekordbox beforehand for it to work. So that is my guess what is wrong (like Oddity said).

KeymasterHonestly the only Windows Laptops usable for DJing environment are Pro-Grade Laptops.
Like HP EliteBook Folio, HP zBook, some Dell Latitude or XPS, Higher End Lenovos etc.
Those cost about the same new as a MacBook, simply because they use many of the same components. There is no Vodoo Magic or Apple ripping you off. Yes you might get a HP EliteBook 5-10% cheaper with same specs, but thats it and cheap 300-500 Euro PC Laptops are also only worth that money and will not last a day in a steamy under ventilated club hit by a 1500W lighting can.

KeymasterI have the last non-Retina 15” with i7 etc.
Works good for me. Yes the Retina is nice, but not a must have in my opinion.
I like the screen real estate of the 15”.Terry_42

Not all is free, but very good.Terry_42
KeymasterGod I wanted that baseline from Los Ninos for ages and could not isolate it due to the bad vinyl I had…

KeymasterI had no problems. Current OS X and current Serato.
You might run into problems with one of the following controllers:
Numark Mixdeck
Numark V7
Reloop Terminal Mix 2
Reloop Terminal Mix 4
Reloop Terminal Mix 8
Vestax TyphoonTerry_42
KeymasterSoooo Vintage you never said it officially, but you using Serato now or whut? 🙂

KeymasterYes they are. Amazing but true.
However I predict it will only be this way for a short while. I can already see product quality with Apple sink regarding their mobile devices (iPads and iPhones) and if this hits the Macs, then these amazing times will be over.Terry_42
KeymasterI have etymotics (not the cheap general ones) they make some especially for music and musicians. You can easily wear them under DJ cans and they do not bother me at all. They sit so nicely, if not for the “pull” thingy they would be totally invisible.
Sure they are about 400 bucks, but well invested money.Terry_42
KeymasterHonestly I do not like Panasonic Toughbooks. They tend to overheat due to design when stressed extremely. They can survive a fall and all, but constant straining is a tough one.
DELL has a tough line that does that a little better. As for DJing I do not think you need a toughbook, you can use a good laptop per se. I tried a HP Elitebook Folio 1040 and a 1020 Bang/Olufson Edition and both worked extremely well (and are good looking). However I had maxed stats (8GB Ram, i7, 512G SSD) so they were both above 1500 bucks.
Which as always: Quality costs money, no matter if Apple or not. (My MacBook Air was cheaper than the Folio 1020). -
