    That’s great Dj Vintage, I thought that would be the case, I just don’t want anything to slow me down when it arrives.

    Thanks everyone. I have finally decided on a new laptop with a high spec ( I can add a larger monitor later but I’ve pretty much run out of money for now). I live in Thailand but all of my new equipment has been delivered in the UK. I’m trying to get everything set up so that when it arrives in September I’m ready to go. It’s so exciting I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas again.

    With the Traktor S2 MK2 will I need a separate audio interface?

    At the moment I have a splitter cable for my current controller.

    I hope to be able to play the Maschine Mikro Mk2 along with the Traktor dj software and integrate the 2 so I can create some music as well as mix existing tracks.

    Can’t wait to get started.

    I think I’ll probably stick with a new laptop for djing, I just liked the idea of a bigger screen without having the extra cost of an additional monitor.

    Thanks too Dieverse Beatz, I’ll look at the mini Pcs as an option too.

    I will also be using the Traktor Pro 2 software which comes with the controller.
