Truth is todays crowd dont really care anymore about the “technical” part of DJing, the only crowd that still care is well US DJ’s lol
I think its a trend now these days, I saw this type of thing now at the clubs nowadays,
You lucky if you can find who actually CAN mix!, but the transition is just awful !, train wreck from the gets-go, and to masked the bad mixing they usually throw some flanger effect in top of it,
Another one is just chopped mix it, in the middle of the songs, its okay if they can chop it smoothly, but they didnt,
Todays crowd all they cared about is one anthem banger, another one , and another one, something they familiar with, it dont matter how the DJ presented it “technically” like you said the crowd didnt notice or didnt care
Instead of frowned upon this DJ, maybe you should take notes, of what all the tunes he droppin that everyone loves it, after all he did get pays 300 dolla for that night, and how can you do it better than him
