Hey DJ Vintage thanks for replying.
This is exactly what I have been looking at 🙂
Nice looking set up, and back up after back up. I would not feel comfortable without lots of back up!!!
I personally like have the 2 seperate CD players instead of the Mixdeck, but it was getting a 5 star rating though, and does look like an all around cover your but piece of equipment.
I have looked at lots of controllers, and it just seems that the Denon (The working DJ’S Controller as they say) sounds like the best one for me. Lots of connections, 2 great Mic channels with EQ and some effects, and a loud headphone jack. I also like the looks of it, and it is available at a location near me.
Have you tryed any of the training video’s from this site?
    Any feedback you can share.

    Thanks again for your reply

    Todd

Hey DJ Vintage and Terry_42, thanks for replying.
Transition, that is what I am looking to do. I currently use CD’s and a laptop with a single player Win Amp. I carry 4 large CD cases, and a lot of equipment. It works great, and touch wood, has never let me down. I am looking to lighten the load a bit though, cut down on some set up time, and hopefully be able to set up on a smaller table. I am getting older, and lugging all of that stuff around gig after gig is getting old too. I don’t have a big need to do much scratching or anything too fancy.
I am a bit nervous to ditch my CD entire collection at gigs, and run totally digital until I get used to it, and feel comfortable without them. I have looked at a few things such as Mixdeck Quad, or the Denon MK6000 2 with a couple of CD / DVD players.
    Any thoughts or advice?
    Todd
