I started out Djing in the bedroom with a pair of belt drive Soundlab turntables. They needed the human touch to ever stay in time when mixing, just a gentle stroke around the centre of the track playing. I always felt this gave me a good edge when using decent equipment and at any house parties we had, not many Dj friends could get mixes to sound good with my decks. The technology has come along way since then and I have recently moved on to Native Instrument controllers. My music has always been a big deal and even with quite a long break from DJing I have always been into a diverse selection of music. Mostly into House music, I was inspired years ago by the west coast tracks coming out from the likes of Joeski and Onions and any kind of house with a bit of funk, but I never wanted to class my self as a funky house fan. Music that's a bit deeper generally, Tech house, Techno, bits of Drum and Bass, Hip Hop. Outside of mixing I'm into music quite melancholy female folk to James Blake.
