So it turns out this DJ’ing thing – even on an iPad is a little addictive….
You only have to ask my sister who has been sending me angry messages due to the fact that she how has a husband with a newly acquired iPad and a copy of DJay after having a go on my one. haha
I did a couple of parties at the beginning of the year for two of my mates 30th birthdays which went down really well. The 1st was a 1 hour UK Garage set and the 2nd was a two hour Electro House/UKG/Jungle one. Few clangers here and there but I don’t think anyone cared. lol Everyone was pretty impressed at the fact I was mixing only using the pad though so it’s definitely a conversation starter and a unique way of mixing.
But, with my preferred choice of music (UKG) being quite energetic and with me liking to cut and chop my way through my mixes, I’ve decided to get a bit more hands on and grab one of these. Got it for £170 brand new which I thought was pretty good.
Looking forward to putting it through its paces at the end of the week.
