Yes, you can go the DVS route, get the most expensive version of the software, buy (in case of Serato/Traktor) a rather expensive external SUPPORTED sound card and stick some timecode CD’s in your media players.
It’s a route I can see someone take if you already have (high end) gear, like a Pioneer CDJ2000/DJM900 setup, or if you plan on going vinyl.
If you just bought budget gear, it does not make the most sense.
Pity you didn’t throw us a request for some information BEFORE you bought your current gear. We might have been able to change your mind to get something more suitable for playing digital, without all the extra costs you’ll incur to make this setup you bought digital enabled.
Word of caution, if you DO decide to go the DVS route, non of the specific software features (like cue points, loops, FX and such) are available to you. You can only use the features of your player. For anything more you’d need to get an extra USB controller to control all those extra things and even then cue points and such are not available.
