Clearly people will help you if they feel like it. On the other hand, this is not your best buy, “is this good, is that good” place. We will give you advice on what to get in general terms. You can find a lot of recent posts on both budget and more expensive laptop specifications suitable for DJ-ing. If you read up on those, you should have quite a bit of information to make a good decision by yourself.

As is true for controllers, software and many other parts of DJ-ing, we can point you in the right direction, but we can not make your decisions for you.

If you plan on using a laptop both for regular use and for DJ-ing, you would do well to make it dual-boot. It’s not a good idea, imho, to use your day-to-day (budget) laptop for DJ-ing if you only have one install. So make it so you can reboot the laptop into a DJ-only environment that you can optimize for DJ-ing.

Also, when you know what software you want/will get, you can go to the website and look at the recommended hardware requirements for laptop/computer. Then you know what your minimum requirements are.
