    Uhm, let me see. Sound should run from your turntables to your DJS1 inputs. The DJS1 outputs should run to your mixer. And clearly a USB cable fromDJS1 to your laptop/computer. I am not sure what you mean when you say your signal path is tt -> djs1 -> mixer -> djs1. That seems impossible to me.

    I don’t have my gear with me, so can’t check (and I don’t do DVS with Serato, or at all actually, but I know how it works in my Mixvibes Cross setup), but I am assuming there is an easy button to click that let’s you switch between DVS and thru modes. In through mode the sound from a regular vinyl goes into Serato and rather than being considered timecode signal is routed straight “thru” to the DJS1 outputs.

    In Mixvibes Cross for example it’s a button right in the decks section. One mouse-click switches it. I am pretty sure you can even map a button on your controller to do the same.

    I saw a video on youtube from a dj who set it up this way, so I tried it.
    Right turntable rca into right channel (phono) input on mixer, left turntable rca into left channel (phono) input on mixer.
    Then rca cables run from dvs send on mixer to Denon DJS1 inputs.
    Then rca’s from Denon DJS1 outputs to dvs return inputs on mixer.
    That was the set up I used cause that Dj had the same battle mixer I had, and it seemed to work for him.
    When I used it I had problems switching from DVS Timecode to regular Vinyl records, without having to pull all the cables out and do it the normal way. So that’s why I asked if there was an easy way without having to pull cables and set up every time I wanted to switch. Sorry if I made it so confusing, I probably confused myself trying to explain it also.

    I found the thru mode in Serato, that actually worked like you mentioned. I can switch between time code and vinyl seemlessly, even use both at same time. Thanks
