It depends a little on the setup. Silent disco has the option of featuring more than one DJ SIMULTANEOUSLY! So it’s not unheard of to have two or even three DJs playing at the same time. Clearly you’d want to have each DJ play another style, in which case you need to make sure you stay within the boundaries of “your” designated style for the evening.

Secondly, using monitor speakers is a no-no (especially with more DJs present of course), so you will be mixing in your cans. This might require some extra practicing to get totally comfortable with that.

As for music selection, I’d say pretty much the same as a regular set. Be sure to watch the crowd. And check if there is a way to find out how many people are tuned in to your channel. The difficulty being that out of everyone that is dancing only a percentage is dancing to your music. So you need to watch closely. You can think you are doing well and it turns out everyone is listening to the other DJ who happens to be playing a track in roughly the same BPM that just happens to be about sync with the track you are playing.
Using the mic can be a good help to solicit some response from the people listening to you.

    Yep as Vintage said:
    – stay in your genre
    – mix only in your cans (a controller with split cueing helps here a lot)
    – use DJ drops and/or the mic to beef things up
