If your main music influence is the above, then yes Traktor may not be the best into and yes if you are not very techy and can cope with complicated technical things, it is clearly not the software for you.
So I am going to recommend either Serato or Mixvibes Cross to you, depending on which controllers you are looking into (check our guide for that).
I am not going to recommend Rekordbox DJ yet, as our experience with it is limited at best currently.
