    You need to get out there Sun , i know for a fact you’d blow them all away. I LOVE you style and its quite similar to mine in some ways and i think there’s alot of people out there who appreciate the darker side of EDM. I took your advice and did it, so make sure you take mine and go for it! 😉

    Your welcome 🙂 Yeah i think that was it! As i say my whole soundcloud just froze up so i couldn’t remember the exact time but i think you right! That tune at the end by Cyantific was really good, i’m definately gonna have to download that one me thinks 😉 Well done though FleXe, looking forward to your next mix for sure 🙂

    Oh and btw i tried to leave like 3 different comments, but my soundcloud is being proper gay and won’t let me skip to anywhere in the set without listening to the whole thing again! But some of the drops were sick! Especially about 10 minutes in i think it was? I will try again at some point but my whole comps being playing up recently so that might be the reason why lol.

    Hey FleXe,

    I thought this was a brilliant mix, your selection of tunes was pretty much spot on, and to be honest i didn’t really notice any of the beats being off, and i was paying quite alot of attention as i was listening to your set and just pottering around on Facebook! lol.

    Although i have to agree with clockwise about the transition towards the end, you went from X-Ray into (i think it was a sugarbabes remix? haha!) into a less upbeat track, even though i thought the tune was awesome! But it did sound as though there was a bit of a key clash? I’m probably completely wrong but it just sounded a bit off to me?

    You should post up a track listing if you can 🙂 And was that a remix of Warhead at 15:46? Whatever it was it was wicked! hehe!

    All i can say it that you have a great feel for raising the energy and what works well together so considering it was your first mix i thought you did a fantastic job and you should definately give yourself a big pat on the back.

    Not at all Flexe, thats really inspiring, i’ve seen alot of female DJs out there who have had the crowd rocking and one day i’d hope to be in the same position as them! I just need to stop doubting myself cause i think if i am gonna do shit then i probably will do haha! It’s confidence that i really lack and just the fear of failure, even though i’ve had really positive feedback from a lot of people i’m still very critical of myself. I just don’t want to go there on saturday and for everyone to have these really high expectations of me if i know i can’t meet them.

    I know its my first gig and i’m bound to make a few mistakes but i just hope i can hold it together if i get really stuck lol. I’m just going to go out there and give it all i’ve got and try my best to make sure everyone has a good night. It helps knowing some of my mates will be there so i’m sure they’l be playing thier part at getting people in the groove 😉 Thanks for your support though much appreciated!

    Thanks Flexe thats really nice of you, i thought the second half wasn’t so good tbh! There’s a part where the beats are of MASSIVELY off but hopefully in the club the big sound system will be a bit more forgiving! I will be sure to let you know how it goes!! x

    Ahhh wicked that was quick! I’m at work at the moment so i can’t get away with listening to tunes but i will be sure to check it out when i get home later 😉 Aww thanks very much i’m very nervous but DEAD excited! Yeah this place really is one of the nets little gems, everyone is so helpful and if you ever need advice or help on a specific topic, there’s usually tons of blogs and threads that will provide you with answers.     Nice really like your style, yeah modestep are good, i love Exile and Dub King are my fav tunes 🙂 Yeeeaaa Caspaaaaa, all the dub police fellas are right up there on my list and the dubplate artists like Hatcha and Breakage.

    Don’t get me wrong some of Skrillex’s earlier tunes were really good, i loved Ruff Neck Bass but then after that he went all over the top and EVERYONE liked him. I prefer the underground scene definately!

    So how long have you been mixing for buddy? Need to get yaself on soundcloud if you havn’t already got an account!

    That’s exactly what i said about my mixin in Sun, your always your own worst critic so they say and it’s absolutely true! I thought this was a really good set, even taking into account what Terry said about the energy i thought your song selection was fab! I’m actually jealous of how good it is! haha! 🙂 x
