That’s a very good question. I’m running v2.5 but it’s quite possible that my friend is running an older version. Are they not compatible?

I know how to export a playlist. Problem is that I get an error message on the Mac saying it can’t read the nml file when I try to open it. So problem i think is not exporting from PC to PC but from PC to Mac. If that makes any sense.
Also, i’m not trying to move my whole music collection of tens of thousands of tunes. Just one playlist which I want to play on another computer.

yep, the Mackies… they rule… never had a problem, ever. Get carrier bags as well and you’re a one man music hit squad.

I know, I’m on a PC but feel forced to use iTunes because there is no support for any other softwares in Traktor.
Would love to be able to use another software but think I just have to accept using iTunes..

So played again last night and signal still comes out weak. I’m running a Thinkpad T500 laptop and my friend who’s on an Apple had stronger output than me using the same S2. So I guess it has to be something to do with my software? Or would the computer sound card etc impact anything?
My output routing is normal btw, just the mains and the monitors. When you say disable the Dual Core Processor, exactly how would that help?

    Cheers

Guys, thanks a lot for your help. I need to check all my settings at home again tonight as when I installed version 2.5 on my computer last night all my old settings got lost (arggh!!). I’ve been fiddling around with both hardware and software. Playing tonight again at the same club so I’ll find out if any of your suggestions have worked.

Sorry, to be clear, what i meant was that I already have the virtual main at 0db and the gains at normal leves. The signal has not improved.

Try adjusting it within the software, rather than on the actual controller.

    Thanks Brian,

I keep the virtual main at 0db as has been adviced and the gain knobs are typically around 0db as well or slightly above depending on the autogain.
