A generic Radio-Shack splitter should do the trick. Just make sure it is in fact a mono-splitter.

Welcome to the site.

I also enjoyed the Online course and believe Phil mentioned before that there were plans for a follow up (more intermediate) level course. Although, I’m not sure what content would be covered.

I really hope this is an add on like fx bar for the ns6 with a skin. Allowing current ns6 owners to flop over to traktor. Would also make more sense for numark then manufacturing two seperate units. Keep in mind even the mockup still has the 5 hot cue buttons, not the typical 4/8 of traktor.

He can plug the headphones into the computer to listen to the main output just as it would play through the laptop speakers. There are cheap soundcards (zalaman 5.1 surround) he can get to stay in his budget.

Without a second soundcard, they won’t be able to hear the main output and preview-cue the next track at the same time.

I don’t know how much the soundcard you mentioned costs, but I bought a 5.1 channel surround soundcard for $10 that has worked flawlessly (plus 100 for the Mixtrack) for a total of $110, but if money isn’t an issue..

Yup. I’m aware of this. I’ve seen it with the NS7+twitch and V7+twitch, but nothing with the NS6 + V7.

Winter NAAM is next week. I wouldn’t jump the gun on any of these until seeing what new controllers are released…

I believe you can do that with Audacity (Free Program)

Thanks for the feedback. Do you think a slight gap between the i / l would help resolve this.
What are your thoughts with the unclarity of the “y” wrapping into the c? I could also add a small break in there.
Problem is, if I start chopping it up it may end up looking like it was done in word with a regular font and lose its flair.
