ParticipantHeh…this could be the next Tebow- “All I do is win”
In all seriousness though, lets start channeling someone of this energy on the site and get some battles going. It seems every other post is about My First controller…Let’s see what people can do.
I’m going to start an Electro House battle thread…Iceman start off a Hip-Hop thread and lets “do work”

ParticipantWrite the idea down, and mail it to yourself. As long as you don’t open it, it is considered a legal/timestamped document to show that you had this idea first.

ParticipantIt seems like you are ready to move on from the Mixtrack Pro. Since many people who are looking to get into DJ are on the hunt for them, the resale value isn’t too bad. You should be able to get about $200 I would think.
The NS6 has a mapping for Traktor, but from what I heard its not the best. One of the higlights of the NS6 is the resolution on the jog wheels, but I believe this is compromised when mapping to traktor.
If you want the best integration for Traktor in a control go with the S4 or look into the Denon units.
If you really like the build quality of the NS6 and want to go with Traktor look in to the Numark 4trak (but it will probably break the bank as it is brand new)
I hope this helps.

ParticipantI think of it like Math. Can you take what you learned from that mix….maybe same transitions with different songs. Or same songs but loop something and use a different transition?
You can’t just memorize the homework problems …you have to be able to apply it for the test.
Now History on the other hand…VinnyBlanc
ParticipantI think it’s a good way to practice. To hear it and see if you can replicate it…

ParticipantIt’s a shame it can’t run itch =(

ParticipantThat is way farther away from 2 cdjs and a mixer than the DDJ pictured above.
Wasn’t that your goal?VinnyBlanc
ParticipantShazam FTW!
What’s even better than the recognition is that I can sit down once a week and download all the songs that I tagged that week, conveniently grouped by artist, album etc…
I use to physcially write songs down as i heard them on scratch paper and had piles everywhere.

ParticipantAnother good tip for adjusting overall height is to get a set of bed-risers. These can be found at most Wal-Mart/Kmart…etc. They are around $10 for the set and the one’s I see are adjustable and can provide a 3, 5, or 8 inch height adjustment for the entire work surface.
I hope this helps.

ParticipantIt’s probably not a matter of “if” you will upgrade, but “when”.
This is the same with any company’s LE Software, not just Traktor.VinnyBlanc
ParticipantI ended up going with the Technic 1200’s. Got a mint pair of Mk2’s for $700 so no complaints here.
PS I’m also from the 609.

Thank’s I’m still in the process of setting everything up…
I just upgraded from a 4 foot to 5 foot table so I need to order a new black table cover.I’m thinking about painting the wall with that black chalkboard paint and having a friend kind of graffiti style my logo centered on the back wall…

Probably Never…
If you Want a true all in one typed CDJ mixer look into a Numark Mixdeck or something similar from the other manufacturers…
