10 Minute quick hitter from February. I’ve been busy, but should have an April mix finished soon.

Numark 4-Trak might work for you.

Awesome, this is good to hear. If everything goes smoothly I may look into a custom skin for a TTM56 I may be picking up shortly.

You can map triggering the SP6 to the APC40. That’s why I originally asked you what you wanted to do with it…

Also, resale value on the Mixtrack Pro is pretty good. So, when its time to upgrade you can reinvest that money into your next purchase.

Yes and when you get a second Mackie you will need to get single RCA to XLR cords.

P.S. Let me know how you like the Thump-15A as I was considering buying a pair.

What are you using Ableton for that Itch can not do?

Do you have the NS7 or the NS7FX? What do you plan to do/trigger with the APC that you can’t with the NS7 currently?
Also, never buy gear for what it “might do later” or is “promised to do later”. You will end up getting burned most times as the Bridge was something that was supposed to be brought to Itch by now, but doesn’t seem to be on the radar now.

There are some work arounds to trigger the SP6 sampler and some other basic functions within Itch from an external device such as the APC40, but it is very limited.

Are you just trying to listen to the master output of the Mixtrack through headphones since you don’t have speakers yet?

If so, why not just get an adapter to connect the RCA (red and white) outputs to a 3.5 headphone jack and listen that way.
This would avoid any issues with trying to use the MAC soundcard.

Also, if you aren’t headphone cue’ing you could just plug the headphones in the front of the mixtrack and flip the knob from CUE to PGM to listen to the master output and avoid using the adapter.

    I hope this helps.

Double check with Phil. I thought I remembered him saying that Traktor doesn’t particularly use the screen real estate well. I could be wrong though) He tested on the 13″MBP.

Resolution is fine its more of an issue with Serato Itch when using a 4 deck controller. I’m waiting on a fix so that I can diable decks 3/4 to free up a lot more space for file browsing etc. Currently, even if not utilizing the 3rd and 4th deck they remain there and taunt you!

As Phil said a “14 would be perfect”…but they don’t make it.
    I have a 13″ and wish I had a 15″.

Is money an issue? Maybe look at the Numark 4Trak.
