ParticipantScratching on the 900s is pretty cool especially with slip mode.

ParticipantSteelo, thanks for the feedback. That is what I was thinking.

ParticipantI would bet the CDJ-2000nexus will have slip mode….what a slap in the face to have it on the 900s and not the 2000s.
Currently, the 350s are the only model with the beat sync so why not have it on your flagship model. Whether you use it or not is another thing…

Participantid just stick with the NDX decks and get the turntables…
But it all comes down to what you want to do. If you are pure EDM the 4 CDJs may benefit you better…

ParticipantI mean if Subway contacted me I’d take it down and make a fuss about it (but I doubt that would even happen). As long as they had to attempt to contact me ask me to take it down first. They probably couldnt just say here is the paper we are sueing you right?
Anyway, any feedback on the idea / design so far?

ParticipantHee Won, many appologies for the typo.

ParticipantHee Wong the Lazy Rich remix of Body work is one of my favorite songs right now!
Anyway, I experienced this very thing at a packed club in Philly recently. I sware the DJ was up there with 1200s/DJM800 house setup and played most of the night in internal mode on serato (or was strictly on the dicers)
There wasnt even like a scratch cut in on the one it was just hard slam into new song, I was miserable until I looked around and realized everyone was having a ball.
The night went something like this “oh oh sometimes …..Starships were meant to fly…..and I used to Know….how to party rock”
Don’t get me wrong I’m big on Top40 club remixes and dance music but you have to use that as the bait to get people into it and then start showing them a little bit more of your style….

ParticipantBe careful! Go do some reading on DJTT….lots of complaints/bugs….

ParticipantI think you need to decide what you want to do first.
2 deck dj software and controller vs launchpad and ableton are two completely different beasts…

ParticipantDavid,
Best of Luck on your new venture…

ParticipantLemon there is nothing wrong with The Novation Twitch or Serato Itch. I’m not sure what Terry is talking about. Let me know if you have any questions with Serato Itch…
To be honest…I think this is the setup that Phil (who has reveiewed all the controllers) actually uses….

ParticipantA Pair of 900s is going to spend most of your budget…. ~$2000 USD
I would save for them over the 850s though…
