Participantive heard top djs f&$k up on a mix but the crowd didnt care as long as the set is well produced and a semblance of you knowing wot you are doing is applied.you use keynotes and bpm matching so your mix shud be fine as long as the tracks you play have a nice transistion and sound good.i too am a perfectionist but utopia is impossible these days,as some people will hear faults where others dont.anyway good luck.

Participant1 way of showcasing mixes i found when i ran a forum with ipb was the shoutcast addon.this is purchased thro the server.it enables live radio on site

Participantthis answers a few points about the denon mc6000.this controller works independently so if your laptop dies for example you can still function with turntables etc.oh btw best practice is to have a spare external hard drive incase the worst happens.
EDIT:but im lucky is i usually carry a spare dell xps l502 with me

ParticipantI use Sony MDR-V500’s and have been using similar models for the past 15 years (I think they’ve changed the model number along the way somewhere). Maybe not the best ones out there, but they work, aren’t too expensive, and fold up nicely for travel. i agree totally as a starting headphone
