    i have over 300 gig but this includes all my vinyl which i digitised and i get a lot of white label stuff off some dj pals.this collection of music goes back 20 years.the way i catalogue my music is into genres,then sub catogory them into bpms.i also copy my most recent tracks into a working directory which is handy for gigs as it is recent stuff.

    its about control.direct drive is so much quicker response.belt driven decks use a glorified elastic band.if you visit technics site this will answer your doubts.nobody with any dj skills uses belt driven.

    i used to be called vanhelsing from the dracula movies.but am now neurologic(all my mixes have a virus theme to them-hoping my mixes are infectious).toxic mix and biohazard are 2 to mention.

    here is the mix link.im a little pissed off.i wrote the biopsy and deleted it.gonna save it in word in future.will do it tm.anyway here’s the link for the mix:

    right tomorrow im gonna explain the following:
    1.my search for tunes and timescales used.
    2.mix preparation.software i use to prepare and preview tunes.(mixmeister fusion/mixed in key/platinum notes/db power amp)
    3.how i use these programs with my mix.
    4.my setup(the gear i use and when i use it)
    5.what type of mix structure i use for different situations.
    5a.radio mix
    5b.live mix(gig)
    6.my pc setup and recording setup.
    7.and must important.the biopsy…….the thinking behind this creation.

    and FINALLY THE MOST IMPORTANT BIT…………….

    over to you guys.for this post to work i need some feedback and biopsies from you guys.i gets people to hear your mixes and see what makes you tick when you spin them tuneeessss.
