Participantwell the parameters of my mix were 128-130-132-134-136-138-140.there is now other restrictions to this otherwise.you can cross genre.what you put in the pudding is up to you.if the pudding turns out ok then yummie lol
edit:you can post other bpms but in same format,eg 110,112,114 etc(7 tracks but must have track list and bpms shown)

Participantthanks for your mix bigchips.ill give some tips and some criticisms so dont be offended,as i know trance isnt your fav music genre.track listings are a must and bpms shown are helpful for the purpose of the mix challenge(128-140 bpms in 7 track challenge).thats my 1st point.secondly i think your mix was too vocal orientated.i listened 2 times.once with my clubbing head on and then my dj head.you can obviously mix tracks but your prep needs improvement.some tracks are not in key(i suggest mixed in key and cross reference with mixmeister fusion pro).this works for me on my prep.also check your master output as volume seems to increase over certain tracks.another point, you seemed to have a lot a tracks in such a short mix.i suggest play some 7 min tracks in middle to pad out the mix.the intro was ok but then i suggest get something more punchy with some bangin bass.overall not a bad effort.hope these tips help.
edit:i suggest you listen to this mix for the structure i use.my personal choice but a guide for you bigchips.

Participantpurchase mixed in key.it gives good advice on what tunes mix well via a system called the camelot wheel.
http://www.mixedinkey.com/secondly atune your hearing.just spend time tapping your feet to tunes.it sounds daft but believe me,you’ll soon start to get into the groove b4 you even start using software/hardware.
Paul Hill
Participantsuggest you start out mixing on software only.then if you find it’s not for you then less expense.you can get traktor le(europe) or virtual dj le (us).there will be free downloads on these sites or trial versions.
