    Or VDJ home, just put that on a mates net book (Dont ask me what type or the specs of it ) to try and wean him off his vinyl addiction and it seems to be working well, we haven’t hooked up a controller yet though

    As much as i hate the Frank Sidebottom style of DJ’s, i still know who they are, so in a way, as much as Smittten is right, Todd Oddity is even more so

    100% honesty now?
    Sometimes.
    Like above, i hear a tune and think, yeah, that will go with this this and this… and 9 times out of 10 i’m right
    But sometimes, if im playing on the fly, ill type in to search parameters tunes within + or – 6 or so BPM, then arrange them in order of Camelot system key, and look one up one down and the same, then from that list ill select a tune i KNOW will go next seamlessly – NOT just pick one blind just because its Key & BPM matched…

    So in that respect i use it more of an Aide Memoire

    Iceman… I lost count of the electric shocks i got when i had to take those old belt driven decks apart with them still plugged in, to find out why they werent working…. i remember once trying to shout “unplug it quick” and my voice came out like a Dalek… 😀

    Shutting down and restarting actually clears the registry… You should try and get in to the habit of doing that before starting anything imprtant

    I’m still gonna run everything, even if i rip it or not, through Spek from now on…
