MemberOriginally it was just one page and we just switched DJs, but we decided that we all individually need exposure, so once the first guys set is done, we just move to the next one.

Hey man, yeah we’re still doing it. We’ve had about 6 people do sets but currently sit at 4 regulars:
Tripl3
FORENSIC
Ernom
SimonWe do are mixes every Sunday, usually in the evening. All you need to do is create your event starting with “B2B DJ’s Present” (mine would be B2B DJs Present: Tripl3) make sure you don’t clash with any of the other slots on that day, and your good to go. Oh and you’ll need to B2B image which I’ll send you in a private message, look forward to seeing you.

MemberWe could be in for a treat there! Looking forward, also Si, just saw the thing about you using the logo for promotions, thats cool. Gimme a message with what your thinking about.

MemberIt really is a matter of preference. I use VDJ with a MixLab 3.1 skin (best skin you can get IMO)
I’ve used Trakor on a friends computer. But for me, VDJ is better. The additions Traktor has that VDJ doesn’t isn’t the things I need in a software, where as VDJ has what I need, it’s friendly and yes, the overlapping waveforms are perfect (especially if your trying to mix with a little alcohol down you)But, it is down to preference

MemberBeen there as well. Doing a birthday party, literally same thing, 128bpm house music, guy comes up and starts talking about the setup, get immersed in the conversation, forget I am a DJ for a second, song ends. Luckily I had this on a sample key.
“Ball so hard mother-fu*kers wanna fine me”
Gave me just enough time to cue Paris by Jay-Z up, and drop in the backing beat. Crowd went ballistic!

MemberDepends when that is in GMT.
I’ve set up for 7 tonight. Unfortunately had to miss last week because I had a tonne of college work. Will be going straight in tonight though. No messing around with different genres!
Tony Youll
MemberYeah, this week was a bit diluted. But we should be back to full strength next week. I’m closely talking to one of the developers and hopefully we can sort something out.
Tony Youll
MemberIt does and I’ve tried fiddling around with it. But it still only sticks to one BPM in the song. There’s one part which is a slow build up which I think is around 128BPM (not 100% sure) Then it changes to a DnB style 90BPM. Its rather difficult to mix into this.

MemberSet up and ready. Lets do this guys!

MemberSounds great. Well I’m down for it.
Tony Youll
MemberSorted mate, got you added (:
I’ve sent you a little shoutout on your Mixify profile too
Tony Youll
MemberHow would you go about doing this? Like what site and whatnot?
I’d be interested though, just to have a bit of fun with some of the guys.
Tony Youll
MemberTo both of you guys, I don’t see why it would be an issue. Unfortunately, you wont be able to get some of the features that the guys who were here last week will be able to get (B2B logo on marquee, “Presented By” section) due to the fact the Production Manager has already sorted that out.
But yeah, just sign up to the site, and if you need help getting to grasp with the website, there’s a few videos up there to help you out, or if they fail, gimme a quick PM on here or add me on Facebook at ‘Tony Youll’ should be able to find me.
It’s looking good so far regarding this B2B business, expanding the DJ range, potential of getting a few of the guys on the featured shows at the top of the site. Thanks Si for this awesome idea!
Tony Youll
MemberThis is great. I’ll let Mike (Production Manager) know who is involved, what times your on etc and that we’ll all be playing under the B2B banner.
Tony Youll
MemberYeah there is a few bugs right now. But they are only in the beta phase and are constantly fixing issues, hopefully in a few month when they roll out the finished product it will be fantastic
