ParticipantIf you intend to use it for the storage of Music files (Mp3 & WAV) double the capacity.
I have 3 hard drives = 2.5TB i have 6000 songs ripped from Vinyl and stored as both WAV and Mp3 and songs purchased as WAVs are then converted to Mp3s and i just moved 25GB of WAVs onto double capacity disks also two of the external HD are used as backups and i am thinking of purchasing another 2TB HD so that i can then make another backup and store in another location. (Honest I’m not paranoid)
Suggest read the reviews
It seems standard to have 7200 RPM read more about RPM below

ParticipantThink you answered you own question “I lowered the VDJ output to 50% and balanced the rest to maintain the same overall volume and I got a nice crisp sound”
Using your ears and balancing the equipment should work best but when mixing you want everything balanced and use the mixer only to do slight volume changes.

ParticipantGreat mix, some good tune selection overall very good mix but the transitions seem to lose the energy that was built up.

ParticipantOnly your ears will answer that question 🙂 If you can get into the club for a sound check and have a song in different formats WAV and MP3 then play one after the other you can then decide. Also it may be best if you can get someone else play the song so you don’t know which is what. Then once finished put on “Something Good” by Utah Saints and do the moon dance 🙂

ParticipantCould always ask the people at mixed in key to incorporate a function that will allow you to put in hot-cues while in the display viewer on mixed in key, Notably the hot-cues would then need to be recognized by Traktor.

Participant£100 and replaced by another DJ ( I did warn them that it would not work)

P.s. Hope you don’t do grammar.
You will also find a lot of Mixes in the Forum listen and enjoy. 🙂

ParticipantFew good bangers before the half hour mark then bring it down then one last banger as the last song?

ParticipantI don’t play anywhere but common sense needs to prevail it would make sense to have the crowd leave all chilled and that,
If the Club looses it’s license where would you be then?Tommy Hear Me
ParticipantVery Good nice selection of tunes, but i feel sorry for your Left hand as it’s left out of the action most of the time 🙂

ParticipantAge has nothing to do with it and experience is a good thing, sometimes it’s not what you know but who you know, once you have finished with studies take a year or two or three 🙂 out, chase your dream and if it don’t work at least you will have something to fall back on i.e whatever you studied.
