Very new to DJing and perused the net for the best laptop to run traktor (not being able to afford a MAC). ASUS was purchased and will only be used for music. Having chatted to a DJ mate who talked me through fine tuning traktor (the factory settings seem odd to me having had his insight) have done open heart surgery on the ASUS and lifted the 4GB memory to 8GB (he says traktor is a very memory hungry beast) – it now flys! 17 inch screen is fantastic. keyboards’ a bit plasticy though but using an S4 the keyboard is used very little.
