I am just trying to be as prepared as possible. The guy who’s running the party said that if they can’t find a way to hook up my controller, I am gonna have to use their kontrol s4 which i have only ever used once very briefly. The thought of doing my first proper live show with an alien controller and software completely terrifies me haha. I’d much rather they put me on CDJ’s as at least there wouldn’t be any messing around with software!
I looked at the Yamaha and it doesn’t seem to have any RCA inputs which is what I’d need to connect my DDJ-SX. Do you have any other suggestions?
Are there any other cables/items I should be buying ahead of time to make things run as smoothly as possible?
Would it also not be rude to phone the house technician ahead of the guy running the party? I don’t particularly want to upset the apple cart so to speak!
