    There is a theoretical difference, but only few instruments (mostly string instruments) and musicians are able to make a distinction between a D-flat and C-sharp note.

    I gues I have to make my own Tom-a-lot wheel with all the translations in it:-)
    G-flat-major = F-sharp-major
    d-flat-minor = c-sharp-minor
    a-flat-minor = g-sharp-minor
    e-flat-minor = d-sharp-minor
