Hi Cartèlea

Where do you plug in your Head phones or speakers? Laptop or controller?
In Serato, you can record internally, so that might be an option for you.

iOS -> IPad, Iphone, Ipod
MacOS/OSX -> Macbook, iMac, Mac Pro, Mac mini

Rob, you just mixed up iOS with OSX.
On MacOS/OSX you will be fine.

Hi Rob,

don’t forget to add smoke (or better: Haze). This will give you the effect you require.

i’ve got a few fixtures, all LCD. My main ‘goto’ set is the chauvet gigbar.

Hi Karlton,

next to all the -good- advice, try a laptop cooler. Might be an over heating issue. Also check the USB cable. Cables do fail, especially when they get older. Buy a quality USB cable and see if the issue happens again..

there is this Chauvet Gig bar. Works for me for smaller rooms…
The sound mode of the lights is quite standard, but i bought a small DMX controller and made my own scenes, that works quite well. I’m planning for a second one.

it does all you want to do, in a relative convenient way and without using a sequencer.
it was at DDJT a while ago with Joey https://www.digitaldjtips.com/2015/07/review-mixmeister-express/

Hi Davy,

Mixmeister will automatically adjust the speed at the end (you decide the length) of every song playing to match the BPM of the next song.

it shows the BPM transition in the bottom of the wave screen.

try to look into the manual, it is explained quite well.
