I would advise you read my signature, google the name at the end of the quote. Then take some time to consider things.

There’s an actor out there that stole your name, I think you should file a report with your local police department.

I love my NS6 and digital djing, but Turntablism has caught my eye and I am going to pick up a Used SL1 and a pair of turntables.

I haven’t found out all the details yet, but I am supposed to go check out a pair of Technic 1200’s that are supposedly in good shape (for $700).

The alternative would be to pick up a pair of NEW Numark TTX usb’s for $800. I’m usually a fan of buying new (no matter what it is), but especially something volatile like turntables.

What are your thoughts if you were in this position? This is assuming I go to check the 1200s and nothing is wrong with them.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Vince

I’d go with the Technics . They’re the industry standard for decades, of a reason. I’ve spun on others in my time, but nothing compares to techs. that being said I have no experience with the Numark model you mentioned. But the test of time stands behind techs. Since they are in high demand, you could always re-sell the techs if you’re not satisfied. 700 is cheap for a pair

Right on Phil. I use unexpected vocals as well. I have a pretty good collection of hard to find 12″‘s that I use. Like the entire Martin Luther King Jr – original live ‘I have a dream’ speech (got it for a dollar ) . The soundtrack to ‘Gandhi’, that has the funeral procession original speech. “Albert Einstein added, generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth.”. etc.
