    Also thinking of upgrading to the DDJ SR from a Mixtrack Pro (Using VDJ).  Does the SR work well with VDJ or am I better running with the Serato?  I’m a Progressive / Deep House spinner.

    Sadly the SX is out of my budget range for now, but this looks to be a very good unit.

    I started off not long ago with a Mixtrack Pro and as beginner kit goes it ticks the boxes. I’ve used it with VDJ and find it pretty simple to work.

    Absolutely agree with the guys above who’ve said that you should go with your own style & choice of tunes to tell your story. It’s about having fun too and going with what you feel is right (assuming beat matching, key etc are right of course).

    I’m also in to the progressive house ‘genre’ & would suggest checking out the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Henry Saiz, Darin Epsilon, Praveen Achary & Dale Middleton for mixing styles and tracklist tips / hints. Both Frisky & Proton Radio showcase a lot of good stuff too.
