MemberThank you i actually figured out all my presets and programming problems on friday night, my issue now that I am having is how to connect with Ableton and controll basic drum patterns or rolls, or if that is even an option. If ableton is not the program that I am looking for if anyone on here could suggest a basic midi program that I could access to use to help record basic drum beats on a track would be awesome.

I am still a new DJ but when I purchased my numark mixtrack pro I felt like a damn professional cause i had some legit hardware to actually mix with versus using my whole computer keyboard and constantly forgetting which buttons I had mapped out…..also found my self throwing the mixer to the far right and then using the left decks jog wheel producing absolutely no sounds but it made me feel like a pro haha

MemberWinamp and Itunes open transitioning his songs completely manually between the two and it sounded horrendous
haha it would piss me off a lot more if he sounded good and was still getting paid to use only those two programs, as a new DJ I am still amazed at the widspread diversity of this hobby and how every individual is so unique in his or her own settup, still a shame to see someone like that in the Booth. Hopefully you killed it when you got up there so he looked very unprofessional.
