MemberI sometimes slow the bpm down without messing with the key on the higher track like for instace
go from the 128 bpm to the 140 bpm, bring the 140 track in as close to 128 as you can without it sounding to bad then before a big drop or some bass speed it up
also I have never really had a problem mixing dub drops together either just cause the bpms do not differ all that much

MemberEven though I am a new DJ all i have been mixing lately is dub/house/electro
I have found that a vast majority of house songs end in roughly like a 30 second playback of the basic beat with bass and some snares, usually I like to mix songs together there such as the part of a dub step song where the vocals come in and then time it just right so that bass drops when the house is over, also look for breaks in dub step songs near the beginning cut out and add some house tracks and then drop back into that dub song

MemberOh okay i gotcha I had a feeling they were just basic midi mapping tools but I noticed alotta people with turntables used them and did not know why that wass. Thank you for the good reply
Spot-Trix
Memberout of all of the dj programs I have used VDJ has a very simple mapping system to use, also before you buy a controller mapped for serato I might consider waiting for VDJ8 to drop on the market.
Spot-Trix
MemberI will have to try the first one you just listed but honestly I am exited for that new copy of VDJ8

MemberOkay i am getting a better understanding of it now, and that is the speaker but not sure if it is exact cause It costs 150 a piece
Spot-Trix
Memberhopefully a double pair of these
Spot-Trix
MemberOkay any link that you would suggest with a good TSI for a numark mixtrack pro
Spot-Trix
MemberMaybe I am stupid maybe I am not but I attempted to add the TSI to traktor and 1. I do not think i downloaded it properly, and 2. I have no idea how to add it, I really apologize for the re bump of the thread but i am a virtual DJ user and I think traktor has some components to offer.

How are the Red Waves by the way? I’ve been considering getting a pair.
I really like the red waves, although I would suppose if you are looking for professional quality and you need your headphones to have 100% noice cancellation than they would not be the best, but besides that they are awesome for the price and the louder I play them somehow they stay crisp
And No i do not beleive the speakers I would be getting would have Rca adapters, but I was also wondering If I used a sub speaker, and two other speakers (all of which using RCA) that is one more rca cable output I do not have on my mixtrack. If that makes sense to anyone please let me know I really wana figure this out so i can play soon.

MemberI have a couple differenct presets available and made sure that not a single cc # is similar, I am just confused on how to map the actual pads to a drum rack to record beats if that makes sense?? I know you can use the grid (i think) and make beats with the musical notations and bars but how can I just jam on the pad with a preset drum rack????
Spot-Trix
Memberok thanks for help guys
