But from what I have heard and read, the rhp 20s aren’t comfortable for long listening sessions and they also leak audio

    everything is mentioned up top…..
i love playing around with filters that’s y maybe i’m attracted to the DDJ-SB, but at the same time Denon’s durability and build quality pulls me towards the mc2000….. software is not an issue as i’ll be upgrading to the full version no doubt.

-this film shall be shown only to the students
-our school policy shall not allow uploading on youtube and other sites.
-since we r putting up an edit of the track and not the original, maybe we won’t have this big a hassle, right?
-@Vintage won’t the artists sue us? xD

but the beatmix 2 doesn’t hv slip mode and auto loop……

does it work in this way – vintage promotes denon and terry promotes reloop 😛

u ought to tell us more of ur preferences….. what do u usually do in ur mixes – fx, sampling, scratching etc. we can only give u our personal opinion unless u say what do u want from ur controller

rather wait for the mixtrack pro 3 to release and go for that….. cuz it looks much much better and also has vu-meters

DJing with CDJs has become quite outdated according with me (pls don’t get me wrong here, there is nothing wrong in cdj-style mixing). but since the arrival of all-in-one controllers, cdj’s hv begun to lose their glamour. u get added features, more portability at very low costs and extremely low (if not 0) maintenance.

and just to remind u that this is a forum not a shop. go get urself a catalog for that stuff. or better yet, get the buyer’s guide that is available on this site.

remember, everyone here will tell u to ditch cdjs and get urself a gud controller.

i agree with vintage. u shud probably go for the sx2 and spend the rest of the money elsewhere on other gear.

twice the money for only a few more extra features is not worth it in my opinion…. unless u really require those features for djing of course.

if u want a splitter cable, try the griffin gc20007 cable. u might be able to get it off flipkart or amazon if u r lucky. or go for a usb soundcard. u can get 1 for as low as Rs.150.

if u shall dj with their gear, then u may switch to rekordbox as it offers tight integration and advanced music management features. as u said, u’ll be able to turn up to a gig with just a flash drive and ur headphones. just my opinion 🙂

since u manage ur music with rekordbox, try the xdj-1000. it has the same layout as the pioneer cdj’s with the only difference being that all functions are controlled thru a touchscreen.
