I’m thinking of nabbing the S2 and getting the F! to go with it (read an article saying that the F1 is being made to compliment the S2 well).

Thanks for all the great feedback!!

Well, the only real reason I am hesitant about an S2 is that I will outgrow it too fast, and that going from a2 deck mixer, too a slightly more advanced 2 deck mixer is just a waste of money. And my budget for this kind of stuff is very limited, so I thought that getting more of an endgame controller would be a better option in the long run.

As for selling the Mixtrack Pro, I think I’ll only be able to get like 150$ for it at best, so many are for sale on the TechTools forum. The Low EQ knobs are really getting beat. And if I tap the side of Mixtrack, it activates pitch bend for a split second.

So say I sell the mixtrack, get the S2 for 400. I essentially spent 250$, which isn’t TOO much, but my main question still nags at me, is it necessary/worthwhile to upgrade to an S2 and not an advanced 4 deck mixer.

On another note, how easy is it to switch between cues and samples on the S2? The idea of having to switch sounds really awful…
