Well, the only real reason I am hesitant about an S2 is that I will outgrow it too fast, and that going from a2 deck mixer, too a slightly more advanced 2 deck mixer is just a waste of money. And my budget for this kind of stuff is very limited, so I thought that getting more of an endgame controller would be a better option in the long run.
As for selling the Mixtrack Pro, I think I’ll only be able to get like 150$ for it at best, so many are for sale on the TechTools forum. The Low EQ knobs are really getting beat. And if I tap the side of Mixtrack, it activates pitch bend for a split second.
So say I sell the mixtrack, get the S2 for 400. I essentially spent 250$, which isn’t TOO much, but my main question still nags at me, is it necessary/worthwhile to upgrade to an S2 and not an advanced 4 deck mixer.
On another note, how easy is it to switch between cues and samples on the S2? The idea of having to switch sounds really awful…
