ParticipantThanks for the input.
Still not bought anything yet lol. The guy with the Mixtrack has gone on holiday so I’ve left him an offer to think about.
I’m very much ‘off’ the Control Instinct, that’s not even in the running now. The lack of proper pitch controllers has really put me off.
Having watched a lot of videos and read reviews, I’m between the afore mentioned Mixtrack and the Control Air. The Air appears to be able to do everything I’d want to do as a complete novice, and although not as ‘pro’ as the Mixtrack, should get the job done and help me achieve my goals over the next six months to a year before I may have to upgrade.
So if he can bring the price of his Mixtrack to what I would be paying for the Air, I’ll go for the Mixtrack. If not I’ll get the Air, which is also brand new so the warranty may be handy!
Thank you to everyone for their input. Been friendly and informative.

ParticipantSupposedly ‘mint’ condition, and only owned since Xmas. Seller wants to upgrade to something more advanced already. Pictures are a little blurry but all lights and buttons appear to be working.

ParticipantThanks Terry, and everyone else! Will let you know how I get on.

ParticipantThanks Simon!
I’ve got my eyes on a Mixtrack Pro now. This seems to be everything I’m after amd a bit more, and with the Pro II out now, the price is very reasonable — especially on the second hand and reconditioned market where it’s less than £100.

ParticipantThanks for the help mate.
That did strike a bit of a chord and was a bit of a major concern of mine — that if I did get a DJ2GO or similar, I’d quite quickly want something better.
I think I’m going to shop around for a second-hand Mixtrack Pro 1, as they seem to be going for around £60-75, which is about as much as I’d want to pay at the minute. Nice as the Pro 2 is, I don’t think I can justify or see the significant gain by paying an extra £100.
