Hi. Im 15 and im just getting into djing and im living it, I believe you should definitely give your son a chance. I just bought my first controller the Numark Mixtrack Pro 3 (250$)and ive been spending a lot of time mostly due to my love of music. If you think your son has the determination and love required for it you should give him a chance, maybe check out different Dj equipment and see your price range. While making my research into what controller I should buy I came across various cheap entry level controllers that might intrest you (Numark Mixtrack Pro, Hercules DJ 4780730 Control Instinct, Numark DJ 2 Go etc) Hope this helped. 🙂
