    Mac all the way. I bought the latest 13″ in january (my first macbook ever :D) and have not regretted it once. If I was made to choose one reason – I took my girlfriend at the time’s laptop to a club, and tried to hook it up to the Nexus setup they were running, with all the correct drivers and the latest Traktor update. 45 minutes, and then the mapping was utterly sketchy for some reason. Macbook in the same place? Worked straight away. It’s just… better.

    Thanks very much! I actually have a side project for house, techno and all that jazz (30Hz). I’ll be releasing a lot of new stuff soon in that area as well.

    The cheapest real monitors you can get are prolly the KRK Rockit line of speakers.

    I have a pair of Yamaha HS50Ms, which are insanely good for the price. Definitely better than the Rokits around the same price area 🙂
