    Bob,
Yeah I definitely have the active speaker and it does have XLR/TSR combo jacks. Today I ordered a 500′ ft. spool of microphone cable and some XLR connectors from Seismic Audio. I’ll solder my own 200′ cables, what the hell.

I am going to need to buy a new mixer, mine is too small I have the Behringer Kenyx802 and it does not have XLR main out.
So time to shop for a new mixer.

Thanks man for the speedy reply, I appreciate the advice and I am pretty
amped up about DJ’ing a marthon course and this will be the largest gig for
    me thus far.
I have a two-block /city blocks in Chicago neighborhoods to cover.
My plan was since I have the active speakers I get power near the speakers
–OR– I will run extension cords from a decent sized generator, which will
require some long-ass heavy gauge cords.
As far as audio, given your suggestions I can use an XLR or maybe Speakon
cables to make the 200ft. run to the outer pair and then I was planning on
using another pr. 100ft. cables to the inner speakers. I suppose there is
no getting around a delay. I will again take your advice and talk to a
local rental co. about some gear perhaps.

As far as budget, it’s minimal for my portion and I supply the equipment,
If I rent out gear then it’s a wash on the gig.

    Rock on !!!
