I may not be much help to you but from my experience with the beats mixr they are FANTASTIC, i have had them ever since they came out (same pair for probably a year now i think??) and they are awesome! i got them cheap as well from someone who didnt want them anymore, but the flexibility, the sound quality and the way they actually stay on your head thru you dancing to your own beats behind the dj booth is awesome!! I have dance so hard with them in every position on my head and they yet to fly off, unlike some skull candy headphones i have had along with some good pioneer headphones…you wont go wrong with the Mixr headphones i promise!
