Good stuff, I’m concerned right now about what pieces of gear I need to start, like a list. So I spend the right amounts of my budget on each piece I need and don’t miss anything. I’ll invest more later as I learn what else I want.
I’ve known this is what I want to do for a while, I’ve just been saving money and building the motivation like a tsunami. I’ve already been hosting parties forever, finding the best music from around the globe and making minor edits, I enjoy the club scene, I like to travel, into all forms of music and dance. The only question is why am I not doing it already, short answer I’ve got a good life but I finally want this more. This thread isn’t about this, just assuring you all this is in my blood. :)! I’m excited
Second hand might be a bad idea for me, I don’t need starter gear to try and I won’t be able to tell what condition the gear is in most likely. Second hand I’ll consider if I need to make my budget stretch more.
I will definitely check Phil’s “How To Digital DJ Fast” course out and other resources mentioned.
I feel I’d be playing music from a CDJ, so spending a lot on a laptop that isn’t playing the music seems almost irrelevant to start.
