    Numark’s website doesn’t say when the offer will be over. It just says limited time, so could be any time or could be a month.

    You should be able to use the offer regardless of where you bought your gear. You just need to enter the serial numbers for both units. I don’t think Numark has any restrictions on this other than “limited time”.

    Serato DJ doesn’t have nearly the number of FX or configuration options as Traktor, but I don’t think that’s what they were going for (at least with version 1.0). Maybe they’ll add more FX with new versions of the software.
    If you want to get crazy with FX, Traktor is still your best option.
