Hi djrizki,
Thanks for the advice, still trying to come up with something original though. Early days though, so still time.
Cheers

Another fourtysomething year old with a Denon MC3000 and TP2 standing up to be counted. We may need our own sub-forum 😉 Post back on how the Alto’s work out – I’m on the fence about springing for a pair or saving up further for Yamaha DXR’s.
Sorry jdlx, hire company gave me W-Audio 10″ speakers instead of the Alto’s, but they definitely performed well, but as it was my first party, I can’t really compare them with any others.
First kids gig over, it went fairly well although there’s lots I need to improve on. I learnt loads from doing this freebie one for a friends daughter’s 10th Birthday.
NEVER let kids get hold of the mic, or at least limit it to a 30sec slot.
Also, they seem to dance more to the party tracks such as Cha Cha Slide and Follow the Leader, rather than some of the latest tunes that my 10 year daughter enjoys. Maybe just the party thing.
Got a request from one of the parents to play a tune from her iPhone. I was so glad I’d packed the correct cables, plugged into line 1 on the Denon MC3000 and job done. Sweet, another happy customer.
It was a great learning experience, and something I’m sure I can improve on.
Gonna keep practising……. 🙂
