damn i didn t know about the launchpad preset. Thats some good stuff, i wish there would be serato bridge for my mac osx 10.8 system. They should continue with that :/ this was a great idea.
Anybody have a video with the launchpad in serato action (no serato bridge)?

justchris, did you see the denon hc1000s or zomo mc1000? this are controllers just for cuepoints, tracksearching etc. 😉

    Hey Neil-D,
your project sounds really interesting, do you have some pictures already? 🙂
I read that you want to use a case in the bag, did you see the zomo s4 “flightbag” already? They used some metal frames on the corners of the Bag to protect the controller. Nice idea too and you could save some weight 😉

    Hello Chachi,
I can t recommend Reloop products, because of its bad quality (my experience). Also when you pay so much money for a product, you should be happy for years!
Did you see the Video of the new Pioneer WeGo already? The controller is almost in the same price range like the reloop, numark products, which you mentioned. But you can be more creative wit the Pioneer. Enjoy:

But so for from what I have seen I like it a lot. I haven’t used the twitch in any environment outside my room yet so haven’t noticed the soundcard issues many people talk about. As of right now I’m happy that the controller can do. I have tons to learn still with the controller and the software.. I really like Serato even though the fx seem pretty limited compared to traktor, but for me it’s not a big deal right now because I don’t even know how to use those small amount of fx good yet. I am super excited for the new software though, of course. Now its just practise practise practise and hopefully advance from my room to some more lucrative venues.

Thinking the same ways Terry not as main gear, but to play around. Definitely a creative package, maybe the most creative package in this price range?

Yea its small, but for beginners not bad and comes with a lot of good features. I am also thinking about to get me one, to use it on the road, while travelling with plane or train. could defenitly fit in every bag 😉

Do you want to use the Monster Headphones for DJing or just on the road? Because i can t recommend them, they all doesn t sound really good, especially not for this price!!! I was totally disappointed when i heard them. I would go with Zomo HD-1200, AIAIAI or Pioneer HDJ-2000

I wrote about the Zomo HD-1200 already,
but here we go again, maybe its a help for you!
i would also give a listen to the Zomo headphones, they only cost about 70$. I saw them the first time in the Beat Magazine from Germany. They tested 12 DJ Headphones from the Range of 70-250$ and the Zomo won.
I got me 2 of the Zomo`s at the musikmesse last saturday 🙂 I love them, the sound is aaaaaawesome! Bass with PRESSURE, not to much mids, clear highs, feels comfortable and comes with extra cables & paddings. great!

i can t recommend the hercules. Never tried the mixtrack pro. But i was djing with the VESTAX TYPHOON, which was really good. I am usally spinning with Vinyl or CDJs. But the Vestax really felt good! i did like the Jog Wheels, which was feeling really good close to the CDJs. I don t need to speak about the faders from vestax, just perfect! A nice idea is the design of the EQs, gives a lil bit oldschool feeling 😉
