    Hi Phil,

    Thanks for your reply. I have contact the people who make the cable several times but they have never come back to me. I would like to try it out as I don’t like DJay. DJ Player is great but I have no end of sound issues so this would be ideal if I could get a reply 🙁

    The only time I had it with Djay was when I had other apps open in the background. Once they were closed the problem went and has never returned…

    I downloaded DJ Player but cannot use it. Reason being, if I hit a couple of hot cues I get crackling noise that I can’t get rid of unless I reboot the app and idj pro. I tried agian yesterday and if I touch the jog wheel very gently this also creates crackling. I tried support but they say theirs works fine.

    This is why I was looking into hooking it up to my IMac and using traktor pro. What’s your thoughts on that?

    Many thanks for listening and for your reply. I can imagine playing out in front of a crowd that you don’t know is completely differant. I feel it’s time to take the bull by the horns and give it a shot!

    I have a pub/bar near me with a function room. Holds around 2-300 people, awesome sound system, lights etc….had mix last two evenings, 3hrs each without messing up. I was thinking about approaching the owner in regards to putting an evening of trance on. I only have my IDJ Pro, no back up. Am I trying to run before I can walk or, should I just go for it?

    The other reason is that when I use sync and in the mix I would think….Yeah this is cool. but when I’ve beat matched it and in the mix it’s more like….HELL YEAH! I feel the music far more…

    DJ Player has a finer pitch control which I found must better for beat matching. But unfortunaly the crackling noise I’m getting has stopped me going any further. Looks good though…

    So are you using an IDJ Pro with DJ Player? I ask as I’ve downloaded and get this nasty crackling noise that i can’t get rid of? I have asked on their support forum but just thought ill see if you have the same problem?

    Just downloaded it, looks mighty confusing! I take it i will need to add some of the in app purchases to get full affect?

    Yes I’m using DJAY 2 as i thought that was the only app that worked with the IDJ Pro. I shall take a look now! Thank you 🙂

    I don’t have any kind of system setup, just an IDJ Pro at home having fun for now but would live to gig at some point 🙂 I’ve got the bug bug time !!

    I don’t use both sides, just both tracks playing in one side, the other side is off my ear, am I making sense ?

    Thanks! One thing I was meant to ask as I don’t know if this is a bad thing to get use to is..I can get the track in time my only listening to the one track in the headphone however, if it drifts a little I can’t always tell so I listen to both tracks in the headphone to double check. Is this a bad habit ?
