That’s odd, I remixed that track and found it pretty straight forward, no need for fancy cuts. Vocal is at 128.00BPM

OT: google the BPM and listen to the song on youtube to find the vocals downbeat if you don’t own the original. I prefer doing it in ableton in case there are any bridges to fix or drifts to warp, then grid it.

I remix top40’s for fitness use, as well as making choreographic/competition edits and mix cds.

I’m really enjoing Oliver Koletzki’s work atm, generally speaking it shifts between Umek, Joris Voorn and Spektre

Audition is a lovely replacement (yeah that open beta was a very nice touch). I’ve used SF for years and it’s the only software I found comfortable with after changing sides.

X1 S4 combo along with a 09 13″ MBP (swapped the HD for a 500gb one and put 8gb of RAM) and HDJ2000 cans. Recently found a Marshall footpedal laying around so playing a bit with it before going out to buy an unlatched one.

An Oxygen49 and iPad for production.

Started with Traktor 2.5, jumped on the Deckadance wagon for a while but jumped back. Happy T2 user now.
