    I have downloaded the mapping file for traktor and the drivers(I am using windows), set the 2 CDJs 850 as one soundcard in the pioneer driver options and just connected them to the PC following the instructions in the PDF file that Terry posted and it’s working, no problem so far. The only thing is that I can’t see the name of the track or any wave form on the CDJs as they aren’t Advanced HIDs as the CDJs 2000 are. But i don’t really care I have it all on my laptop’s screen.

    Thanks for the answer, there will be CDJ 850 or 2000 which are MIDI compatible and a DJM 850 for sure. I was thinking to set the mixing mode in traktor to “external” and connect only the CDJs. About the controller I have a Denon MC3000 which is decent I suppose. I will work something out, but for sure I am going to backup my set on a USB stick. 🙂

    Hi Alejandro, I started DJ-ing about 4-5 years ago and at first it was bedroom–>small house party. But slowly I started to talk to other DJ-s that work in clubs and ask them for tips. They introduced me to other people and I started to get gigs in Clubs. And now in may I am playing in Budua Montenegro in front of 1000+ people thanks to my friend who introduced me to the manager. Obviously you must be good as a DJ, professionalism—>manual beatmatching and always learn new stuff. So “talk to many DJ-s as you can” that don’t mean to ask them to play or something like that but talk to them about what they do and what are you doing and you will see that thing will go better.

    Thanks man great answer. I done how you said and now it’s ok I am in green/orange all the time. Thanks a lot 🙂
