DJ Big Daddy
ParticipantAlmost forgot to mention. I believe they’re throwing in a free road case with the SZedd
DJ Big Daddy
ParticipantMy vote is neither. Buy yourself a DDJ SZ
You can get one for a little over 1300 bucks brand-new now. The platters are the same as their pro line and the quality of that unit is excellent. You won’t find a better controller for the money.
To me the DDJ SX and SX2 feel like toys compared to their bigger brother. Do yourself a favor and check it out before you make a decision.DJ Big Daddy
ParticipantDDJ-SZ2 is well thought out and incorporates Recordbox and Serato as well as other features introduced since the original SZ which I have owned for over two years.
Tempted to move in that direction BUT not sure I need all those bells and whistles until I master my current model sometime in 2024 🙂DJ Big Daddy
ParticipantYup, lots of suitcases on the market that would fit the bill for you…
look on Amazon.com

ParticipantAs of a couple of years ago Serato did not support AMD motherboards. Don’t know if that’s still the case…

ParticipantThanks for the deep knowledge brought to this post DJ Vintage,
As a relative newbie to the lighting side of mobile DJing, we learned the “hard way” with our fogger purchases and could not agree more. Our advisor Tom at KPODJ.com recommended this unit to us when our second fogger puffed it’s last breath. What really excited us about this unit was that it was built for the road with significantly advanced and intuitive controls and a high volume of haze output.
The icing on the cake for us was that we picked this up for a street price well under $500 USD (similar to Euro). That’s a real bargain based on what you shared typical pricing comes in at for units of this caliber. Honestly, we couldn’t find anything remotely close for the bucks.
Again, thanks for sharing your experience and expertise.
Appreciated very much.DJ Big Daddy,

Excellent suggestion!
BTW, in my last reply “piercing” was supposed to be “pricing”. What a difference a letter or two makes! LoL!
I’ll reach out to Phil…August 7, 2014 at 12:15 am in reply to: Anyone bought the course, The Complete 21st Century Wedding DJ #2048062DJ Big Daddy
Participantd-Jam, thanks for your comment. I too believe in supporting Phil. I paid for the Master Class @ $269 USD. Just saying that I saw the program listed in an old post by Phil for free and then for $49 bucks. now I see it for $97 and to be honest think it’s a bit much for a 50 page ebook… As for the piercing question you asked, happens to millions everyday my friend. Peace…

ParticipantThx for the info. Appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately they’re selling it now for $97 on Digital DJ… Will have to see if I can find it for a better price somewhere else!
