Of course you take your cans, you’ll probably be wearing them walking into the place already :). They come at the top of the “obvious” list of gear to take.

pioneer has always releasing new products during the summer period always on august so you will have to wait 3 months.again i am asuming that don’t take it for granded.
now as far as the s4.it is the best traktor controller.no matter what upgrade or new hardware comes out it will be supported.porter robinson uses it and many other pros. if you want the best traktor experience and use it in clubs get the s4 or 2 x1s. if you will go the mobile route the options are more but still the s4 is the best choice. don’t forget you will work as ni wants you to work. you can’t jump from one day to the other into beat juggling(this is the reason why the f1 is being made) or use cdjs.

as far as the ergo is concerned i have also seen it and used for a couple of minutes in a club. it was hooked to one of the channels of a 850 and the guys was using traktor and the djms effects. the sound quality was above average and enough for club use.i would really recomend it if you have club inspirations..however the best controller in the same price point as the ergo is the terminal mix 2.
better sound and build quality(the best in it’s price point),and the best jogs on the market
both the ergo and the tm2 deserve the extra bucks

have seen it in use in a club.a 400-500 people one.the dj chose it over a pair of 1000s and a djm800. the sound quality was good but when the next dj came and used the pro gear the sound quality was much much better, i suggest much more traditional and cheaper designs.
    beatmix
    mixtrack
    djc-4
    and vms4.1

the s4 is amazing and more mobile gig friendly. in my country it is 200 euros more expensive than the t1.personally i got the t1 and the upgraded to the pro version only 89 euros.i use the club equipment so i just test my ideas in home with my controller.
the s4 however is more capable than the t1 but don’t think you will be confortable with cdjs and a mixer.
both the t1 and the s4 are plastic
if you want the best quality and 4 decks check out the reloop terminal mix 4 and the numark 4trak
also choose the software you prefer

You asked if the showtecs were value for money and I think you got a decent answer. NO.

They ARE however CHEAP loud PA speakers (although I am guessing the 400W rating is peak or music power, meaning RMS is probably 2 x 100W, still loud enough for a living room party). And if you don’t care for sound quality, then by all means, go buy a set and crank them up to their distorted maximum power!

thnx for the info luckily for me this time of the year all the major clubs are changing their venues( they are placed in different locations according to the time of the year) and some of them are selling their old equipment.200 RMS for 2 booth speakers each is a bit overkill but i am spending only 300 euros without the amplifier
