    I saw the email from NI , so its about 1/2 price of s4 meh, I would rather shellout the extra for the s4…..

    Started a new project. That lifted my mood no end! Great advice. I’ve always tended to listen to music while the feelings lingered. I really like the idea of feeding it instead of trying to impossibly wind down.

    Ok, more info, i went in and got interviewed on radio today, Fantastic right? Yep! But now a few hours after you get home, the thrill of it and all, adrenalin worn off, and now ya home, no crowd, no admirers… was such a great gig.. extrpolate to a huge 1500+ ppl gig…..(which is similar)… AND NO, NO DRUGS OR VICES INVOLVED!!!! I’m strictly talking GIG HIGH!

    True. It was more for those that don’t have an extended warranty, that need a quick cheap fix. If he gets to keep the speaker, my answer would be ‘Just for the fun of it’.:)

    if its torn and the coil is okay, a good repair could be possible using a tube of silicon. I have repaired a speaker like this before and it worked a treat!

    I now know that I should only do a gig if I am really going to like it and I am into the music I am mixing.

    Thats’s the ideal, but as professionals, we sometimes wont be in our ‘comfort’ zone and will need to suck it up smile and remain professional. This is marketing. I did door to door sales and the best quote I still use is ‘leave the nieghborhood on a good note’ even if they are the biggest bunch of of losers you would ever meet.

    When in rome do as the romans do, but be unique. Play other stuff mixed in.. ‘dip your toe’ so to speak. You can always blend out if they dont like it. I had fun in the mid 80’s introducing imported EDM to an isolated country area of australia where ‘kenny and dolly and julio iglesias ruled the roost. (male stripper, pump up the volume, grand master flash, bronski beat, and holiday rap shocked the crowds) , 12″ singles had just been born then! Even bands that seemed ‘all synths and drum machines’ like eurythmics were frowned upon!

    biggest was bang for buck. It has an awesome sound card built in. It was well supported by both traktor or VDJ, I can also map it in sound forge 6 and reason.

    okay, 3 of my own 21,17, 12 two step children I call my own 12 and 11 and granddaughter as well who is 1 and 1/2.

    The only part of the script that may need modifying is the a/v lines. to say, avira, macafee, nortons(shudder). I use microsoft sec essentials for instance (it is actually okay believe it or not)!
