which leads me to believe that people will start going back to live performances with actual instruments.

I think this is very much ‘on the money’.

I always have an iphone and y cable as well, The i phone is loaded with three or four pre recorded 1 hour mixes of various syles so it buys time to fix whatever or to bail me out if the problem cant be fixed.

My worst situation was an ‘all in brawl’, no security and being stuck with no escape route. I was very young at the time (17) and most of my equipment was damaged. I hid below my decks until cops came and calmed the place down. I almost stopped djing after this.
Feedback- I just say it’s electronic or some quip that comes to mind, same with stopping a playing deck. I might say something like ‘who gave the barman a remote control to my decks’?

Plenty of gear available right here in Adelaide (derringers, MTME and BSS audio). There is plenty of mobile work but is very commercial. check out some of our radio stations.. cruise 1323, mix102, 104.7mmm, nova 91.9 These 4 stations are mobile gigs music, the best is Fresh FM 92.7 which is dance and club music along with our net radio sound pond.

Based in Adelaide, Australia, mainly mobile stuff, but I also regularly play on a river cruise boat called the ‘Port River Dolphin Explorer’ and yes, there are dolphins, (the Port Adelaide river is a dolphin sanctuary)and they are well known for their tail dancing (like Flipper).

The s4 will work without a power adaptor(from usb power but the LED’s are much dimmer) The S4 external power requirement is 9-20volts DC so any power adapter from your home country should be fine as long as the polarity is correct and withn the voltage range.

I hve used an S4 since january and it is a great controller. clipping happens because of the operator not the hard/software. I have not had the issues you say, although i cannot upgrade past 2.0.3 due to my laptop being underpowered. Still 203 works fine so I don’t really need the upgrades.
