    Cheers guys. I understand it’s easy enough to nudge the platter until they match, but I was hoping for an easier way of getting it right the first time. I guess looping the cue point, matching it, then dropping it at the appropriate time is the best way. That and practising…

    Thanks for the replies quys! It seems like throwing some unexpected tricks in there will be my main aim. I have some of my own mashups I’d use (and according to Soundcloud, they’re not overly popular…). Apart from what could result from the trial, I doubt I’ll be too nervous. It will be in front of my boss who I’m pretty good mates with. I’ll try and put a little creative set together with 10 or so songs and practise it so I’m confident and familiar with it. I might even record it and upload it…

    Thanks for the reply dude. I’ll have to sit down when I get some spare time and map it to the samples. Using vocals is a sweet idea! I never even thought of that. Thanks once again.

    Haha. Thanks! I figure anyone can put two songs of the same genre together, so I try and find something that you’d never think of.
